The University of Iowa (hereafter, The University/University) located in Iowa City, Iowa, desires to obtain written proposals from qualified Suppliers to provide insurance claim clearinghouse services.
Please be aware that this is an extensive bid. All Suppliers are cautioned to allow ample time for the submittal of RFP responses well before the due date time requirement. Bids must be submitted via the eBid system.Questions regarding the bid may be submitted by registered Suppliers via the Questions tab within eBid prior to the question cutoff date.
All Supplier questions and the University answers to those questions will be published sometime after the Questions close deadline for all interested Suppliers to review.

For the Claims RFP, Question 59: This question shows to be "required" to be completed in the Iowa eBid portal. Please advise if Waystar can choose to not check “Read and Agreed”, if this will create an issue filing the answer in the Iowa eBid portal (Attributes Tab) - which may prevent Waystar from completing and submitting the entire RFP response. The issue is Waystar is not able to check this at this time prior to a 6/27/22 deadline. Waystar will be in a position to check this at a future date. Not all solutions in the project scope have had its accessibility finalized to be in compliance with 508 standards, this is ongoing work internally at Waystar. This specific question and Waystar readiness has become a discussion item with our product team and it was requested I ask Iowa this question if it will impact the ability to submit the bid/RFP. Please let me know if you have questions.

The scope of the RFP includes solutions for Eligibility, Claims, Claim Monitoring (Status) and Remits. The security questionnaire has a section on Credit Card Processing (PCI compliance), #7-10 which is related to print services/statements and patient payments. Waystar is happy to answer the questions around CC Processing and PCI, just noting it’s not related to claims/remits solutions in scope for the RFP. Do you want Waystar to answer these questions?
