Answer

Yes. Corneal tissue and blood specimen are prepackaged in a foam container with wet ice to preserve quality of the corneal tissue.


The packaging is based on EBAA standard and regulations.

Question 1. “The Supplier is expected to have access to air as well as land transportation. Please describe the supplier’s ability to meet the expectation to have access to air as well as ground transportation to meet this service request.”: If the supplier cannot/does not ship via air, would this preclude them from bidding on locations that may be serviced by land transportation?
Answer Providing transportation by both land and air is strongly recommended. Supplier has the right to do what ever they want
