Over view:
DOT is seeking a contractor to provide all equipment, materials and labor needed to
Remove tile from office, hallway, and breakroom (approximately 840 square feet). Mechanically prep floor, fill joint cracks and blemishes. Apply moisture block primer. Apply base coat with full flake system, apply high performance clear top coat
DOT Estimated Project Start Date March 13 , 2023 and Completion on or before April 30, 2023
This is project is exempt from state sales tax.
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Steve Henry (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project included during a site visit are to be submitted to Steve Henry in writing preferably through the ION wave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions and Site Visit scheduling indicated below)

with a date and time of when you want a site visit.
Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit.
Site visits will be scheduled in advance between February 9, 2023
and March 6, 2023 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
