Notes	We highly recommend online submission of responses. This expedites the process and reduces errors for both buyer and supplier. Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. Approved Brands Any manufacturers’ names, trade names, brand names, or catalog numbers used in the specification are for establishing and describing general performance and quality levels. The references are not intended to be restrictive, and bids are invited on these and comparable brands or products of any manufacturer. Responders must include alternate brand specifications for purposes of comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance. Contract Award Award will be made by line item. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. All questions related to this project are to be submitted through the Ionwave bid system through the cut off period for question submissions. Before delivery the successful vendor may be required to schedule an inspection with Equipment Services at the vendor’s location. All items bid differently than requested in the specifications will require the review and approval of Equipment Services before they will be accepted.
