Bid Questions
Question I tried to call into the prebid meeting but both times did not have success in getting through. Sheet 1 on the Plans Document shows a 60x120 building. Sheet 2 shows a 70x120 building. You are expecting this building to hold 3000 tons. True capacity of the building with 8' walls all the way around it would be close to 3000 tons. You will loose lots of tonnage with 2 side entrances! What size should this building be?
Answer Please see Addendum 3 on the Attachment tab.

Question Is there any flexibility at all on the start and completion dates? We are currently busy with all of our building crews until the beginning of October but would love to bid on the project if there is any flexibility at all.

Thanks,
Lucas
Answer

The proposed construction timeline is adjustable. Completion later into winter weather would require the bidder to include “winter conditions” to the bid amount. Please suggest a revised timeline for our review or consideration prior to bidding.
