Overview: The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids from qualified suppliers to supply r eplacement of sound proof acoustic panels for sound quality in Greenfield Maintenance Garage. Panels are 2' X 4' with 2" thickness, NRC range 0.80-0.95 and class 1 fire-rated. Quantity of 120. must have the same design as shown in the attachments to match the current panels in place. This requisition is for material only. Color to be "Natural gray" to match existing. Bid should include 56 tubes of 10.5 oz acoustic adhesive. Panel Size: 24" X 48" Panel thickness: 2" Color: Natural Gray Mounting: Direct applied with adhesive Any manufacturers’ names, trade names, brand names, or catalog numbers used in the specification are for establishing and describing general performance and quality levels. The references are not intended to be restrictive, and bids are invited on these and comparable brands or products of any manufacturer. Responders must include alternate brand specifications for purposes of comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
