The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking competitive bids from contractors qualified to remove and replace existing electric motor at the Iowa DOT's Ames Facility located at 800 Lincoln Way, Ames, IA, Building 3A11 (Hub at Oak & Grand).
Estimated project period is to begin upon bid award and DOT acquisition of required documentation with completion by 06/23/2023.
Scope of work: See attached documents under Attachments tab.
There is no Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled, however Pre-Bid Site Visits are recommended. Interested bidders may schedule site visits with the Purchasing Agent via e-mail at Kyle.Williams@iowadot.us.
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
