It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
Overview: Contractor to furnish and install new guard rail to mechanical area of Red Oak MBW area per plans and specifications.
Project construction period:
Estimated Start Date: Upon contract award, once notice to proceed email has been received. Coordination of project start date to be determined with Project Manager upon award.
Estimated Completion Date: August 18, 2023
This is project is exempt from state sales tax.
Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Tiffany Stupp (see bid contact information). Any and all questions related to this project included during a site visit are to be submitted to Tiffany Stupp in writing preferably through the ION wave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions and Site Visit scheduling indicated below).
There is no formal pre-bid meeting. Site visits are recommended. Interested bidders may schedule a site visit by emailing Tiffany Stupp with a requested date and time via email at tiffany.stupp@iowadot.us. Any questions that arise during your site visit should be submitted using the Ion Wave system.
