Question 3.Can the salary range for this role be shared for the purposes of providing an accurate price quote for executive search services? Or is general language describing the percentage used to calculate the final fee acceptable?

Question 2. Given that our firm, should it be selected, would not need or have access to ISU data or systems during the course of the executive search, is Cyber/Data Privacy/Technology Consultant – Professional Liability Insurance actually needed? Or should this be submitted as an exception to the General Terms and Conditions of the RFP?
Answer List any exceptions to the insurance language in the attributes provided for the General Terms and Conditions exceptions or provide exceptions as an attachment. The insurance language provided is our standard language and some exceptions will be allowed.

Question 1. In reviewing the insurance requirements for contractors, it appears there are repetitive and excessive insurance requirements for small businesses. As a boutique executive search firm, we currently carry more than the limits provided for in the RFP Insurance Language for General Liability (GL), Workers Compensation and Employer’s Liability. However, our firm does not carry an Excess/Umbrella Liability policy or Professional Liability insurance. Given the nature of our business in executive search, as well as never having an insurance claim made against our policies in the last 50 years we have been in business, are these extra policies really needed or can we simply list this as an exception to the General Terms and Conditions of the RFP? If carrying these insurance policies are strict requirements to do business with ISU, does that mean we are precluded from submitting a proposal?
Answer The insurance language provided is our standard language some exceptions will be allowed.
