Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting information from qualified contractors
for a
used and/or new
tractor and loader to be used by Singh Breeding Group. The main function of the unit will be to operate a research plot planter
. The unit bid must also have the ability to have GPS Auto Steer installed. A used unit shall have approximately 1,500 hours or less, current model, under standard production by the manufacturer and be furnished complete with standard equipment and accessories as listed in the manufacture’s printed literature, plus the items below. All equipment and options must be factory installed, if available.
If bidding a used unit
, ISU would
prefer
to have the specifications while realizing all speciation’s may not be met. Provide a bid as close as possible to the specifications for used units. New units should be bid as close as possible to the specifications. A company can bid multiple tractors for evaluation. These requirements are not intended to preclude competition.
