Question Who is responsible for insurance coverage during the installation process?
Answer The awarded supplier will responsible for carrying the minimum insurance requirements that have been attached to the bid that would cover ISU in the event of a major loss during the installation timeline.

Does the school or athletics have a fiber spec? It was mentioned today that a specific time of fiber was required.
Answer Corning Freedom LST (024ESF-T4101D20) Minimum 24 strands at each location. When using the Iowa State University-provided raceway.

Question Will the due date for this bid be extended?
Answer As of now, there are no plans to extend the due date.

Question It was noted that the feed to the marque at the Hilton Colosseum had some issues and may need a new feed. Where is this fed from, is there an existing accessible raceway, what is the amperage and voltage to the sign. If the raceway is underground the conduit may be broken or smashed which could be the cause of the power issues out at the marque. Do we need to assume that this should be a new circuit and raceway? The same would questions would be needed for the fiber run going out to the sign.
Answer Assume that power is as shown on the as built drawings provided and that the existing pathway is accessible.

Question Where are we getting power from for the screen in Beyer Hall? During the job walk , we were unable to find the feed to the existing scoreboard. The existing panels that we looked were 120/240v and pretty outdated if we are to get power from one of these panels, I’m not sure how readily available the breakers are

Question For the video screen in the pool will you require an indoor our outdoor video screen? In the past for pools I have always recommended an outdoor screen due to the high humidity.

Question Rec Center – Is netting an acceptable protection in front of the display vs Lexan?
Answer AD is ok with drop down netting as long as it is not down during a competition

11/20/2023 09:00:00 AM (CT) Additional Site Visit ISU will hold a 2nd site visit on Monday, November 20th, from 9AM CST to 11AM CST. THIS OPTIONAL SITE VISIT IS ONLY FOR THOSE SUPPLIERS WHO ATTENDED THE FIRST SITE VISIT, and are looking to get a second quick look. We will meet again inside the lower west doors of Hilton Coliseum, will head to Jack Trice Stadium after that and then proceed to Cyclone Sports Complex.
