Bid Questions
Question
Are fee structures required as part of the bid? The size and scope of projects can result in significant variance from project to project both as a flat fee or when determining the estimated number of hours required in the design phase.
Answer
This is why we have asked for costs of completed projects you have previously completed. We will use those projects to evaluate cost comparison between responding firms.

Question
Per bid attributes, section 1, it states no specific project or installation is yet planned. What should we base the design phase estimate on required under bid lines, section 1 without any project requirements?
Answer
You can respond as you see fit, but a general range of your cost per hour for design services is one option.

Question
We cannot share past work financials as that is confidential per our client agreements. Does that disqualify us from the opportunity?
Answer
The inability to submit pricing information does not preclude you from responding to the bid but may impact the score provided info our bid evaluation related to pricing. In lieu of providing exact financial details, you could provide a cost range of each project.

We are an approved supplier for ISU. If we bring forward a subcontractor partner as part of our approach, will they be contracted into the project under our company or would they need to complete a separate bid process?
Answer
A subcontractor would work under you company's envelope.

Will you be working with multiple vendors for projects? For example, my company provides graphic design services and we received an invitation to reply to the RFP. However, my company does not provide installation / fabrication, but we could coordinate it.
Answer
You could list the installer as a subcontractor.
