The City of Davenport is seeking bids from qualified vendors for Redstone parking garage stair tower masonry improvements. The project consists of masonry sealant, window sealant, door thresholds, expansion joints, and concrete and masonry repair.
A pre bid meeting will be held on site at 9:30 AM on March 23rd, 2023 at the corner of Main St and W River Dr. Meet inside the enclosure of the parking garage at this corner.
Vendors must log in to the eBidding system in order to submit a bid. No other submission method will be accepted.

Question

Can you explain how the non-collusion form gets filled out?

Answer

The first two pages of this form must be submitted with the bid in Ion Wave.


The first page the contractor would write the name of the bid on the project line, their company name on the company line, and have an executive officer sign on that line. If they do not have an Affirmative Action Officer they may write N/A on the form.


The second page is an Affidavit that must be notarized. The person signing off of this affidavit for the company write their relationship with the company (owner, partner, officer, etc.) on the first blank on line 1 and writes the company name on the second blank of line 1. Then they would sign at the bottom and write their title and the notary would sign on the bottom left section.


The third page does not need to be submitted with the bid.

Answer Yes. There is no fee for City projects but the contractor will still need to apply.

Question Is there flexibility to move work to the fall?
Answer Yes, anticipated start date is around the June to July timeframe, but we can push this back to the fall if needed. As long as work is completed before winter.

Question Can we close down stairwells while conducting work?
Answer The stairwells can not be shut down. We need to have access to two exits at all times.
