The City of Davenport is accepting quotes for the purchase of thirty (30) trash cans. Review the specifications sheet uploaded in the attachment tab for additional information. Line items in the quote should include:
1. 30 Trash Cans
2. Shipping and Handling
Quotes should be free of sales tax.
Vendors must log in to the eBidding system in order to submit a quote. Each tab must be reviewed and responded to accordingly. No other methods of bids will be accepted. They must be submitted through the City of Davenport eBidding System; no emails, no faxes, no paper copies or any other method will be accepted.

What material would you like us to use such as
steel or plastic?
Answer Preferably the lid will match the cans, and preference would be to have a lid without the guard.

Question Will you accept the same receptacle with Thermoplastic finish vs. powder coat from Superior Recreational Products?
Answer The City would like the receptacle to be powder coated, thermoplastic will not be accepted.

Question Is there a particular size canister you are requesting for these trash cans? We offer 22 gallon or 32 gallon receptacles.
Answer The City needs 32 gallon receptacles. The Specifications have been updated in Addendum 1.

Question When reading through the specs, I did not see anything about a lid for the receptacle. Is a lid expected to be in the quote?
Answer Yes, the City would like a lid included in the quote. The specifications have been updated in Addendum 1.

Question Good afternoon,

Would you please advise whether all units are to be delivered at once, and to what address?
Also, what the delivery conditions are at the ship-to address (i.e. tailgate required? accept 53' truck? call-ahead or appointment required?)

Answer Shipping will be a location that a semi-truck can easily access. The City has a forklift to assist with off loading. All receptacles can be delivered at the same time. Delivery address is 225 South Marquette street, Davenport, IA 52802
