When would the resulting contract begin?
Answer This contract will begin on July 1, 2023 and continue until June 30, 2025. The contract may be renewed for up to three (3) additional one-year periods by written mutual agreement of both parties.

Has ISU identified a budget for this initiative, and if so, is it possible to share? Is there a price above which proposals would not be accepted?
Answer At this time we do not have a proposal price cap as prices may vary depending on services included. Please ensure all services are well outlined.

Question
The RFP indicates a desire for senior search and a desire for marketing to these students through the application and yield stages. Is ISU interested in including senior search (new) names only or also previously purchased names and/or inquiry pool student names?
Answer Senior search should incorporate both new names and names previously purchased.

What has been your traditional response rate to student search pieces in the past?
Answer Average total response rate for 2021 and 2022 was ~11.2%. Average Freshman response rate for 2021 and 2022 was ~25.5%. Average Sophomore response rate for 2021 and 2022 was ~13.5%. Average Junior response rate for 2021 and 2022 was ~9%.

What has been the volume of student searching mailings you have done in the past to reach those inquiry goals by class?
Answer Average total suspects contacted for 2021 and 2022 was ~354k. Average Freshman suspects contacted for 2021 and 2022 was ~17k. Average Sophomore suspects contacted for 2021 and 2022 was ~17k. Average Junior suspects contacted for 2021 and 2022 was ~18k.

If we build a microsite to gather inquires are you open to building a direct feed into your CRM allowing your team to call on warm inquiries faster?
Answer This is a possibility, the primary concern here would be that the data would have to be clean and formatted per our system requirements.

When you reference an inquiry, is that turning a suspect from a list acquisition, into an actual inquiry to Iowa State where interest in the University has been expressed?
Answer Correct; An inquiry is essentially a suspect from an acquistion list "raising their hand" for additional information from Iowa State University.
