Budget Revision / Questions and Answers

The City of Dubuque, Iowa is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified professional consulting firms to design and perform construction management services for 3 mini parks (Eagle Valley, Westbrook subdivision, and English Ridge subdivision), play unit replacements at 2 parks (Madison and Murphy Park), and a park redevelopment of Jackson Park. The three mini parks primarily serve their respective neighborhoods; however, they are an active part of the parks system. The play unit replacements at Murphy and Madison Park are meant to update existing playgrounds and surfaces that are at end of life. The redevelopment upgrades to Jackson Park are intended to enhance the park features and increase park attendance. Jackson Park serves as a park for community events, the beginning of parade routes, and is a heavily used neighborhood park.

The project development for each component described will take the concept to final plan and bid specifications. A qualified consultant will design preliminary and final plans for the entire development/redevelopment of all parks and projects listed. Certain projects in this RFP are funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and must be performed in accordance with all rules and regulations related to ARPA.
