The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit qualifications from qualified contractors for the City of Davenport, Iowa to provide replacement and maintenance of residential hardwired/stand-alone smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. The objective is to offer a list of qualified vendors to homeowners to replace detectors that are broken, out dated, or in need of a battery change at a reasonable price. Due to the range of maintenance and/or replacement of residential devices, the work listed will range from $40 not to exceed $300 based on labor and equipment/material utilized per residence.
