The City of Davenport is accepting bids for nuisance mowing services for the 2023 season. Please read specifications carefully before submitting bids. The city will be divided into two zones, east (Zone A) and west (Zone B). The dividing line is the center line of Marquette St. Last season, the City completed approximately 964 nuisance mows in the east zone A and 752 in the west zone B. The average number of cuts on a weekly basis was 50 +/-. The average size of these lots were 6,800 square feet.


A pre bid meeting will be held December 28, 2022 @ 9:00 AM at the Davenport Public Works building, 1200 E 46th St, Davenport, IA 52807 in room PWTC (Public Works Training Center).


Questions must be submitted electronically via the Questions tab by December 29, 2022 @ 12:00 PM CST.


Vendors must be registered with the City's e-bidding system in order to submit a bid. Vendors must login to the e-bidding system in order to submit a bid. Each tab must be reviewed and responded to accordingly. No other methods of bids will be accepted.
