REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
BALL FIELDS AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

HOLIDAY PARK & RACCOON RIVER PARK

The City of West Des Moines, Iowa, solicits interested parties to submit proposals for maintenance of the baseball fields and grounds at Holiday Park Baseball Complex and the softball fields and grounds at Raccoon River Park Softball Complex. Maintenance shall consist of labor, equipment, materials, and products needed to manage and maintain the ball fields and grounds, as well as materials and products necessary to properly prepare fields for play.
Submittals marked “City of West Des Moines Ball Fields and Grounds Maintenance” will be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on Friday, January 26, 2024. Submit a signed copy of this Request for Proposal (RFP) and attached Proposal Form to:

Proposal Procedure
Mark the outside of the envelope with the proposal subject, “City of West Des Moines Ball Fields and Grounds Maintenance”.
Proposals received after the announced time and date of receipt, by mail or otherwise, will be returned unopened. Nothing herein is intended to exclude any responsible firm or in any way restrain or restrict competition. The City of West Des Moines reserves the right to award in part or in whole or to reject any or all proposals.
Any proposal submitted MUST be signed by an individual authorized to bind the submitting organizations. All proposals submitted without such signature will be deemed non-responsive and will not be acceptable. Proposal Form must be signed.
Questions regarding the RFP can be addressed by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department, Laura Murphy, Superintendent of Recreation, 515-222-3444. Any questions that substantially change or clarify the RFP shall be affirmed in writing as proposal addendums to all individuals and firms receiving the RFP.
