NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL PROPERTY AND REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PURCHASE OF PARCEL LOCATED NEAR THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF GRAND AVENUE AND RACOON RIVER DRIVE, WEST DES MOINES, IOWA
The City of West Des Moines (“City”) is soliciting proposals from developers interested in purchasing City-owned property located near the Southeast Corner of Grand Avenue and Racoon River Drive in West Des Moines (“Property”). Please note the Property is being sold as-is. Title will be conveyed via Deed without Warranty. The City will retain a Permanent Public Utility Easement and Temporary Construction Easement on the Property.
The Property is legally described on the Polk County Assessor’s Web Site (abbreviated) as PARCEL F 7117-493 LYG E OF LT D & S OF LT A WEST GRAND BUSINESS PARK PLAT 1 LT 4 USS SEC 30-78-25 (Parcel ID 320/00399-002-012), Polk County, Iowa.
Proposers shall submit their proposals in a sealed envelope, plainly marked “Proposal for City-owned parcel near SE corner of Grand Avenue & Racoon River Drive”, no later than 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in the City Clerk’s Office at West Des Moines City Hall, 4200 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa.
