NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSAL FOR ALLOWING THE WASTEWATER RECLAMATION AUTHORITY A UTILITY EASEMENT IN THE NORTHWEST QUADRANT OF COPPER CREEK LAKE PARK LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF PLEASANT HILL, IOWA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 23 ^rd day of April, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., on said day, at the City Council Chambers, 5160 Maple Drive., Pleasant Hill, IA 50327, a public hearing will be held by the said City Council on a proposal for the City to allow a utility easement be acquired by the Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA) for the installation of a sanitary sewer flow monitoring station. Following is the legal description of the property needed for this utility easement:

A PART OF PARCEL E AS FILED IN BOOK 8478, PAGE 618 OF THE POLK COUNTY RECORDER'S OFFICE AND BEING A PART OF THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 33, TOWNSHIP 79 NORTH, RANGE 23 WEST OF THE 5TH P.M., CITY OF PLEASANT HILL, POLK COUNTY, IOWA DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT THE CENTER OF SAID SECTION 33; THENCE NORTH 89°54'51" EAST ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID SOUTHEAST 1/4, ALSO BEING THE NORTH LINE OF SAID PARCEL E, 11.83 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE CONTINUING NORTH 89°54'51" EAST ALONG SAID NORTH LINE, 19.36 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 00°09'28" EAST, 61.61 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 00°02'36" EAST,

YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the proposed allowing of a utility easement, as described above, will come on for hearing and be heard before the City Council of the City of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, at the time and place aforesaid and that at such time and place, all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard.
