Overview:
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to:
Provide and install roof coating on pole building to eliminate leaking from fastener deterioration.
Round to the next full container of materials needed to meet square footage needed.
Clean and prep roof with approved epoxy coating prior to top coat being applied.
Apply top coat within manufacturer instructions.
Test roof after application for leaks
Work to be performed during regular workdays and hours M - F 7:00 - 3:30
Award:
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.

All questions related to this project are to be submitted through the IONwave Bid system on or before the cutoff date and time as indicated in the solicitation.

Project end date- 6/01/2024 (This includes re
solution to all punch list items, inspections and DOT acceptance
typically used in construction bids).
Site Visits: A site visit is not required but will be highly recommended if a contractor needs to look at the existing site.
To schedule a site visit contractors must contact Jerrod Okland at Jerrod.Okland@iowadot.us with a date and time of when you want a site visit. Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit.
Davis-Bacon wages do not apply.
