Award:
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
Overview:
T
he Project consists of removing the existing exhaust system in the Mechanics Bay and replacing it with a new
exhaust system at the Iowa Falls Maintenance Garage as per attached plans and specifications.
Awarded contractor will be required to provide on-site operational and or maintenance training for the new system.
Pre-bid recommended, site visit upon request. Inspection by Iowa State Building Code Bureau.
Required 1 year construction warranty and materials warranty as indicated in specs.
Awarded contractor must be a licensed, bonded and insured contractor
Davis-Bacon wages do not apply.
This project is exempt from sales tax
