**Re-bid re: RFB FY2024 #227 (door size correction)
Overview:
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for; Two 14'2"x12' overhead doors as per specifications identified in RFB FY2024 #227 Specifications document (Attachment tab). The location for this project is the Decorah, IA Maintenance Garage located at 2305 US Hwy 52 South, Decorah, IA 52101.

Acceptable brands are listed within the Specifications document and within the Line Items tab. Pre-Bid substitutions are allowed on this bid. Before providing bid, please complete the Pre-Bid Request for Approval of Products or Materials form located on the Attachments tab. Following business unit review, you will be notified if your substituted material was approved or denied for this project.
Scope:

Contractor to remove two existing 14'2x12' overhead door and replace as per specifications.

Contractor to dispose of existing equipment.

Please review RFB FY2024 #227 Specifications for all required material specifications to ensure compliant materials are bid.
Award:
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.

The date shall be coordinated with the IDOT Project Manager. (This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received (i.e., Insurance, performance bond and vendor signed contract).

To schedule a site visit, contractors must contact the Purchasing Agent overseeing the bid at kyle.williams@iowadot.us with a date and time of when the awarded contractor wishes to conduct a site visit. Pre-bid site visits must be scheduled and conducted prior to the question cutoff date.
