This project will consist of the removal and replacement of two sections of the existing roof above the wash bay and maintenance garage stall area (approx. 16,520 SF) at the Ashton Maintenance Garage as per the attached drawings and specifications. This includes Membrane, insulation, vapor barrier and metal coping. Contractor to verify square footage.

DOT Estimated Start Date: June 3, 2024 (Start date to be coordinated with IDOT Project Manager. This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received i.e., Insurance, performance bond and vendor signed contract).
Estimated Completion date: August 30, 2024 (This includes resolution to all punch list items, inspections and DOT acceptance typically used in construction bids).
Award: It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Teri Schulz (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project are to be submitted to Teri Schulz through the IONwave Bid system on or before April 9, 2024 at 10:00 pm CT
