Award: It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
The awarded contractor is required to conduct a field measurement prior to order placement.
Questions: All questions related to this project are to be submitted through the IONwave Bid system on or before the cut off date and time as indicated in the solicitation.

Site Visits: A site visit is required prior to submitting a bid to ensure the vendor has the door measurements.
To schedule a site visit contractors must contact Teri Schulz at teri.schulz@iowadot.us with a date and time of when you want a site visit. Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit.
Site visits will be scheduled in advance between May 30, 2023
and June 12, 2023, between Monday - Thursday, the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Fridays hours are 7:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m.
