Project Location: Mile Marker 81.16 and Station 216+80+/-.
Project Overview:
The scope of the project is to provide a 120-feet, 10-inch tile crossing along IA 4 from right-of-way to right-of-way. One landowner owns each side of the IA 4. Landowner has pattern tiled his property and requires a tile crossing to connect to two drainage tiles. The method of installation will be trenchless installation on IDOT right-of-way, with bore pits placed outside of state right-of-way. New inspection tubes will be placed at right-of-way line as per Road Standard DR-302. The depth of installation is approximately 5-feet.

DOT estimated start date is to begin after bid award with completion by June 28, 2024.
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
