The City of Iowa City's Equipment Division is requesting bids for purchase of two (2) new Full-Electric Four-Door Passenger Cars to be used for general purpose transportation per the terms and conditions and minimum specifications described herein. Award may be made to more than one vendor.

No Contact Policy: After the date and time established for receipt of bids by the City, any contact initiated by the vendor or by a City representative, other than the Purchasing Division representative listed under bid contact, concerning this Request for Bid is prohibited. Any such unauthorized contact may cause the disqualification of the proposer from the procurement transaction.

Bid proposals must be submitted online via Ion Wave. Faxed, emailed and hard copies will not be accepted.

Questions: All questions and clarifications regarding this Request for Bid will be accepted until January 13, 2023 noon (CST) by submitting your questions through Ion Wave. All questions must be in writing in order to receive a response.

Vendors and/or their authorized agents may be present if a formal bid opening is held, at which time all bids shall be opened, and cost data read aloud. Due to public health concerns surrounding the pandemic, bid openings may not be open to the public. If this occurs, bids will be opened and read verbally over the phone until all bids have been opened.
