The University of Iowa solicits proposals from qualified Suppliers to provide an Pathology Slide Scanner that will be used to take whole slide images of stained pathology slides. The proposed scanner must have a loading capacity of 400 slides and operate easily with minimal training. The daily scan throughput should be at least 500 slides. The scanning operation should not require manual focal point configuration by the operator. It is desired to have slides loaded with vertical racks.
