Description
The Agency, Juvenile Court Services, and the Scott County Decategorization Board is seeking proposals to provide the Boys Town’s On the Way Home Program (OTWH) in the 7th Judicial District. OTWH is a 12-14 month, evidence-based, aftercare program that provides family and school centered services for at-risk youth returning to their homes, schools, and communities following a stay in out-of-home care, who are at-risk for recidivism, academic failure, or high school dropout. The primary objectives of this program are to facilitate successful and lasting reunification, reduce the recidivism of youth to out of home placement, increase school engagement, sustain academic success, provide family members with instruction, support, and resources for managing difficult behavioral situations, and prepare youth for post-secondary education and/or employment.
