Description

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals that will enable the Department of Health and Human Services (Agency) to select the most qualified contractor to provide unique mental health training to staff at six State Operated Facilities. The training should be research supported, curriculum based, and provided by those with Lived Experience as defined in this RFP.

The Agency anticipates executing a contract that will have an initial 1-year contract term with the ability to extend the contract for 5 additional 1-year terms. The Agency will have the sole discretion to extend the contract.

Training must be provided by individuals with Lived Experience. This must include an individual with a mental illness, a family member of someone with a mental illness, and a mental health practitioner who themselves has a mental health condition or is a family member of someone who does.
