By direction of the Linn County Board of Supervisors (the “Board”), in accordance with the provisions of Iowa Code Chapter 26, notice is hereby given that sealed bid proposals will be received by the Linn County Auditor’s Office, located on the 2 ^nd floor of the Linn County Jean Oxley Public Service Center (the “Public Service Center”) at 935 2 ^nd St. SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, until 9 a.m. local time on February 19, 2024, for the project titled Linn County Correctional Center Isolation Cell Buildout (the “Project”.) Linn County will not consider bids received after the bid submission deadline and will return such bids unopened to the late bidder.

The Board will conduct a public hearing on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost of construction for the project at 10 a.m. on February 19, 2024, in the Formal Board of the Public Service Center.

A representative of the Board will publicly open and read all bid proposals submitted by the time and date stated above at its meeting in the Formal Board Room of the Public Service Center at 10 a.m. on February 19, 2024.

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD FOR THE PROJECT. In order for a bid to be considered, the bidder or bidder's representative must attend the mandatory pre-bid conference scheduled below.
