Description View Changes

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, intends to issue a request for quotes to convert two buildings from propane to natural gas and to extend an existing natural gas fuel line to another building for future conversion. The project is located on the USDA campus in Ames, IA.



Work includes installing new 1-inch HDPE natural gas fuel lines. New fuel lines to be connected and supplied from an existing 2-inch HDPE, 30 psig fuel line. It also includes installing new regulators and meters and converting existing equipment from propane to natural gas.



The estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation and attachments are posted below.
