Description
PHYSICIST SURVEYS
This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 541690 Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation.

The Central Iowa VA Health Care System is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide Diagnostic Medical Physics Services. The Contractor shall provide all tools, transportation, test equipment, and labor to perform initial, unscheduled, and annual testing of diagnostic imaging systems for Magnetic Resonance, Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, Computed Tomography, Positron Emission Tomography, SPECT and/or Planar Nuclear Medicine Imaging Equipment located at VHACIHCS Medical Facilities in Des Moines, Des Moines (Metropolitan South), Fort Dodge, and Mason City, Iowa. Vendor will not have access to ePHI except for working in a clinical area, where unavoidable, or as otherwise directed per contracted services and abiding by all related VHA requirements.
