Description
VA-CIHCS utilizes virtual reality to maximize rehabilitation outcomes and healing process. This experience offers a variety of virtual worlds with clinically designed rehabilitation activities to enable patients to regain mobility, develop strength, and increase range of motion (ROM). The virtual reality system must be fully immersive for the patients and allow a therapist to challenge and engage with the patient to meet the goals of therapy. The system must be able to offer a head to toe experience to engage the patient in healing (balance, ROM, strength, pain control, etc.) to optimize the therapeutic experience.
