This project will be a design-build to include design, fabrication and installation of a new bascule bridge that crosses the lock chamber and meets or exceeds AASHTO HL-93 loadings. This new bridge replaces an existing floating bridge. The project may also include but is not limited to the construction of new approaches, abutments and installation of operational machinery and controls.
