This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. The Government intends to issue a solicitation for this requirement in the next few weeks.
Any questions submitted after the solicitation is issued will be answered via an amendment to the solicitation here on SAM.gov.
Below is a description of the location and services required.
See attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS), which includes the anticipated contract schedule and other important information.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The Contractor shall provide all workforce, labor, equipment, materials/supplies, transportation, fuel, tools, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide refuse and recycling collection and disposal services, including supplying of collection containers, for all designated public use and administrative areas at the Saylorville Lake Project, near Johnston, Iowa, as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and elsewhere within the solicitation. The Contractor shall perform to the standards as outlined in the contract. Services also consist of attending annual pre-work conferences, meetings as necessary, and preparing worksheets and invoices.

The solicitation will proceed as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), performance-based service contract.
The proposed contract will be issued in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items/Services, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
The expected period(s) of performance is/are as follows:
BASE PERIOD: 1 March 2024 through 28 February 2025
OPTION PERIOD 1: 1 March 2025 through 28 February 2026
OPTION PERIOD 2: 1 March 2026 through 28 February 2027
