Question What are the operating hours for Fueling Station? (Is this a 365-day / 7 day a week operation? What are daily hours?)
Answer For Carver-Hawkeye Arena (CHA)- generally 7am – 5pm Monday through Friday. CHA is open every week of the year; however, reduced days during Holiday week like Christmas. For Hansen Football Performance Center - During the fall season and spring football period (6.5 months total +/-), the cold refueling items are accessible to football student athletes 6 days/week. Since these items are ordered, stocked, monitored, and dispersed through the football weight room, that staff sets the hours of access. When football is in season, generally the hours of access are between 6am-6pm. During the balance of the spring semester and summer required workout weeks (approx. 15 weeks combined), the football weight room staff generally sets access between 6am-5pm Monday-Friday. During the Discretionary weeks when the student athletes are not required to complete workouts, the cold refueling items are generally not stocked/replenished. This is typically about 9 weeks/calendar year.
