Is there flexibility in the following:
o As for lodging, they will give up $100/day for housing. Is this rate negotiable?
o They will not provide a rental car, mileage, or uber/taxi reimbursement while on assignment. Is this negotiable
- 10 day probationary period. They will work for 10 days and at the end of the 10 days, the University will choose to either extend the contract or terminate the contract immediately based on “sole discretion”. Is this negotiable? What is the sole discretion based on?
- Is there a set rate or are we able to bid a rate for the position?

$100 lodging stipend is not negotiable as we receive a University discount at many hotels in the area. Uber/car rental is not negotiable; transportation to and from work site is on the locum. We will terminate the employee based on clinical skills, not the contract with the Supplier. There is a set rate.

• Is staffing subcontracting allowed?

• Is this minimum an “All-In” rate (hourly pay + benefits) or just hourly pay?
• How many hours of orientation/training do you require for temporary clinicians? How many of those hours are paid for by you vs. the supplier?
• Are you interested in utilizing a VMS platform?

No call, nights, weekends or Holidays required.
We typically do not have the locums work more than 40 hours so no overtime.
If clinical skills are not at our desired level, we will terminate the individual but not the companies contract. Just hourly, 3 days of orientation all paid at hourly rate. We are not familiar with what a VMS platform is.

• Attribute 6 asks for a 4000 character maximum response plus a proposal attachment. Does the attachment need to be limited to 4000 characters?
• Attribute 14 allows for exceptions to the provided Terms and Conditions. Can exceptions be provided for the Professional Services Agreement (for items not covered in the terms and conditions)?
• The deadline for clarification questions is stated in the RFP as Tues 5/31 at 3PM CT. Later in Attribute 20 (pg 9) it states “Requests received less than 72 hours before bid closing will not be answered” as related to discrepancies, omissions and true meaning of any part of the RFQL documents. Please clarify – what is the deadline for questions?
• What is your expectation/requirement for timeframe to produce a Locum (from initial request to assignment start)?
• Are hours guaranteed?
• How many providers will be awarded?
