Over view:
DOT is seeking an overhead door company to remove and install 2 new overhead doors at the Donnellson Maintenance Garage as per specifications. Contractors will be required to provide all materials, equipment and labor necessary for the removal and replacement of 2 overhead doors the Donnellson Maintenance Garage location as per the photos and specifications on the attachment tab.
DOT Estimated Start Date: October 5, 2022 DOT Estimated End Date: January 12, 2023
This is project is exempt from state sales tax.
Davis- Bacon Wages to not apply.
Contractor to be an Iowa licensed contractor in Iowa.
Questions: Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Tiffany Stupp (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project included during a site visit are to be submitted to Tiffany Stupp in writing preferably through the ION wave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions and Site Visit scheduling indicated below)
Warranty:
Contractor to provide standard manufacturer's warranty on product and 1 year workmanship warranty.
Site Visit:
A site visit is recommended. Interested bidders can schedule a site visit with the Purchasing Agent listed on the solicitation via email @ tiffany.stupp@iowadot.us
DOT will coordinate with the garage staff and send you confirmation once the site visit has been scheduled.
Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit.
Award:
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
