It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
Overview: DOT is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all equipment, materials and labor needed to clean and prepare roof area per manufacturer requirements to recover entire membrane of dome at the LeMars DOT Maintenance Facility. Work to also include preparing existing roof surface and disposing of all debris offsite. Reference photos and membrane specifications in the attachment section of the proposal.
Project construction period:
Estimated Start Date: Upon contract award, once notice to proceed email has been received.
Estimated Completion Date: May 31, 2023
This is project is exempt from state sales tax.
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Tiffany Stupp (see bid contact information). Any and all questions related to this project included during a site visit are to be submitted to Tiffany Stupp in writing preferably through the ION wave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions and Site Visit scheduling indicated below).
There is no formal pre-bid meeting scheduled at this time. Interested bidders may schedule a site visit by emailing Tiffany Stupp with a requested date and time via email at tiffany.stupp@iowadot.us. Any questions that arise during your site visit should be submitted using the Ion Wave system.
