The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified firms for the City of Davenport, Iowa (hereafter referred to as “City”) to perform security services at various locations. The length of this contract will be one-year with two possible two-year renewals as approved by the City of Davenport.
An optional pre-proposal conference will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022, 3pm at Davenport Public Works. 1200 E 46th Street, Davenport, IA 52807.

Answer Typically, the vendor will provide a professional services contract. The City reserves the right to request modifications to the proposed contract during negotiations.

Question With the waiver and hold harmless document, is there any language that protects us if something happens and the city is at fault.
Answer The City can not waive fault in the event negligence.
