The City of Davenport is accepting bids for electrical upgrades to the North and South River Center buildings. Bids must be submitted through the City of Davenport eBidding System; no other method of submission will be accepted.


A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 9:30am December 1, 2022 at the project location -- meet at the Loading Dock of the South building located on Pershing Ave between 2nd and 3rd street. This will be the time to discuss the plans and specifications, any concerns, and the city expectations. All contractors intending to bid on this project are encouraged to have representative in attendance.

Can the 200A company switch in the Great Hall be relocated to the northeast wall near the 400A company switch?
Answer The 200A company switch may be relocated to the northeast wall to save on wiring cost. Coordinate exact location with the Owner. Refer to revised drawings.

Can the new company switches on the West Side of the Great Hall be served from the panels in the mezzanine on the west side to limit the amount of wiring?
Answer The company switches on the west side of the Great Hall can be fed from the panels in the West Side mezzanine to save on wire cost. A new Transformer (150 KVA 480:208Y/120V) and Disconnect Switch (400A/3P) would be required. Refer to revised drawings

Which electrical panels are the floor boxes’ outlets served from and is there an existing 4” conduit from panel.
Answer The existing drawings show the floor boxes are served from four (4) separate panels in the Great Hall. The existing drawings indicate a 4” conduit from panels to floor boxes (typical 4).
