No considerations or revision in the contract price or scope of the project will be considered by the Iowa DOT for any item which could have been revealed by a thorough on-site inspection and examination.
The DOT highly recommends all contractors interested in this project attend the prebid/site visit meeting. Prior to bidding to ensure you have a good understanding of the project, size, and the opportunity to ask questions.
There is approximately 12,930 cleanable square foot in building. There is 10,382 square feet of carpeted area and 2,548 square feet of hard surface area.
Cleaning is to be done Two days a week, not consecutive. Days determined between contractor and project manager upon award. Or one night a week is an option.

Contract Award
The Contractor will be awarded a one (1) year contract with an option to renew for (five) additional years in twelve (12) month increments.
Contract Award
It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
Contract start after February 7, 2023.
