Pre-Solicitation Notice to solicit for a contractor to provide VisuAll ETS Headset, Win10 Tablet, Software (VF, VA, Comprehensive Suite,CCVT) for the VA Iowa Health Care System, Research Office located at 601 Highway 6 W, Iowa City, IA 52246. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Priced Purchase Order. The VisuALL - Virtual Reality (VR) mobile Perimeter Headset will be used to analyze the retinal sensitivity in patients with Glaucoma and other visual disorders. This product must have the following salient characteristics:
Must be a VR visual field perimeter designed for standardized and mobile assessment of the visual field.
Must be designed to automatically analyze the retinal sensitivity in patients with Glaucoma and other visual disorders.
Must enable the examination of multiple patients at a time.
Must have software/suite.
Must include eye tracking, pupil function, and ocular motility testing.
Must be portable.
Must be clinically validated in the USA FDA registered and certified by Scientific Advisory Board.
The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted full and open competition on or about 11/03/2022. The applicable NAICS code is 339115 with a 1,000 Employee Size Standard. The FSC/PSC is 6540.
Copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the contract. Registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov. Questions concerning this procurement may be directed to the Contracting Officer Ann Marie Stewart at annmarie.stewart@va.gov.
